 Re: Eviction Notice post below

We have our own Consumer Report research dude right here, it's "The Skinny Guy". Go to Skinny's blog, he has a review on some blogs and is looking into others.

You can click on his blog "Something New Today" in Blogs I Like box, lower right side.

Blogstream Eviction Notice, You have less than 60 days to GET OUT

OK one more landlord gives up on me, normal. Screw em, I'll have more time for stone carving.
I actually came over from Blogspot. I didn't like it much. I was getting lots of comments that were actually advertisements, they were so many I blocked the comments, so that just left it as a picture posting site, whats the use, so I haven't been to it for many years. I can't find it now, maybe it was taken down, or hacked, or gone to dead blog Valhalla.
I saw AZRON suggested tumbler. That looked interesting, but I would like to know more, it seemed to be like it's demographics might be mostly a mix of in home businesses, young families and kids. They might shoot down Sarge's daily eye candy. My first impressions was the same as the tour of blogspot I didn't see any "there" there.
I have a facebook page, but I really dislike that because I get constant requests to "friend" people I never heard of, and disturbingly most appear to be teenagers. I only go to that thing about 3 times a year, even that seems too often. Also, I'm a contrarian, being part of the biggest club rarely appeals to me, screw them, I don't want to belong to a club that would take my type.
I also saw POPS was going to give some info or opinion on this but can't find it on his post, hey POPS, what ya thunken and whered ya wret it?

Suggestion: If you have found a new domain your moving to, or one your reserving while you continue to hunt for that perfect new home, then from now on: end every post with your new address and go to your profile page and wipe everything out and replace it with just your new address.

Remember Saturday Night Live skit, the motivator? The fat dude was going to keep the kids from making decisions that would render them homeless, living in a van down by the river. Where is the motivator when we need him to save our butts.

Had enough tea? Milankovitch cycle explained.

Climate deniers and tea party elders clinging to the brew of misinformation of Koch, Fox and the Chamber about rising temperatures and melting glaciers should give this some thought, and look into it in a science book or a science website, try, just try, and avoid the fossil fuel sites on this one.

There are dozens of solid and peer reviewed reasons and studies indicating the climate is warming. Here I will explain very briefly one more.

Milankovitch in the 1930’s came to the conclusion that glaciers grew and ice ages occurred because of variations in the earths orbit. The orbit is not constant as even ancient Greeks knew, over thousands of years it takes a different path, and this variation is repeatable. Slowly our eliptical orbit grows and bends us closer or further from the sun. This cycle takes 100,000 years to repeat.
Then there is the obliqicity cycle, the tilt of the axis varies from 22° to 24.5°, this cycle takes 41,000 years to repeat.
Another cycle is the precession cycle or called gyroscopic wobble, a variation taking 26,000 years.
And still another variation in the solar systems gravitational machinery is imposed that runs a whopping 413,000 year cycle.
Now these cycles present land masses (which absorb more radiation than ocean) into position facing either more or less directly to the sun, allowing for greater absorbtion of the sun’s heat over long periods, and less in others. Thus various cycles of glacier growth or retreat and earths warming or cooling over many centuries, and these run like a calender through geological history, they can be verified.

Currently, with all these cycles superimposed one over the other it places us in a period of glacier and arctic ice growth. Our current position within all these tilts and orbits and wobbles should be cooling us, but we have the opposite, the evidence points to CO2 and other greenhouse gasses, loss of reflective ice, loss of forests. Clearly, since the industrial revolution we are moving instead of cooler warmer, and the last 50 or so years the divergence is pronounced and rapid. Any who believe astronomers observations and ability to calculate orbits, must when aware of their evidence overlaid with records of temperature should if rational rather than political find it impossible to deny the power of pollution to impact the atmosphere. Unless maybe they've had too much tea.

News flash, a Premiere Radio employee spills the beans

Premiere Radio Networks, a subsidiary of Clear Channel Communications, hires actors to call in as guests to their own radio shows such as Rush Limbaul. No real surprise, I have often felt or suspected this was the case. Some of the call ins are so conformable and the few who call to oppose are shot down with such flourish and seem so goofy I really couldn't buy it. A shitty little carnival, the shills are obvious.
